You can upgrade your buildings by tapping on them and choosing the "Upgrade" option. Upgrading your Headquarters unlocks new buildings and new upgrades for your existing buildings! Your Vega Cruise Lines and Scrap Refineries will not generate resources while being upgraded. Similarly, defensive weapons will not participate in battles while upgrading so prepare accordingly.
