While active, a PvP shield prevents other players from attacking your base. PvP shields are automatically given to players after they are attacked to allow them to build up their resources again to improve their base. Shield durations are calculated by the amount of stars your opponent receives when they attacked your base. PvP Shields can also be purchased for up to 7 days worth of protection but have a cooldown timer before they can be used again.
